Vancouver, CANADA – June 9, 2020 — Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre, a leading industry accelerator for the cleantech industry in Western Canada, today announced its COVID-19 “Restart and Resilience” program for the growing number of early-stage cleantech companies navigating challenges related to the Covid-19 health and economic crisis.
“Shoring up Canada’s cleantech sector in light of the COVID-19 pandemic is crucial to our economic recovery and future economy,” said Jeanette Jackson, CEO of Foresight. “The Restart and Resilience program supports these companies with hands-on mentorships, focused working groups and curated information programs. We want them back on their feet and taking back Canada’s leadership role in the cleantech industry as quickly as possible.”
The COVID-19 Restart and Resilience program is available immediately to qualifying Canadian cleantech companies. The program includes increased business executive-in- residence mentorship support, curated information series, specialized training, working groups to support key issues around financing, grant writing and supply chain challenges and proactive investor readiness planning and profiling.
The COVID-19 Restart and Resilience programs is funded by the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), National Research Council Canada / Government of Canada.
