Currently working as an independent forest and bioeconomy advisor, Sandy has worked in senior corporate affairs, business development, and strategic roles with private, not-for-profit, and government organizations, including Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Conifex Timber Inc and Director of Marketing and Business Development at the BC Bioenergy Network. She served on the 2018 Federal Resources of the Future Economic Strategy Table and is a board member of Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC) and the Canadian Bioeconomy Conference and Exhibition Society.
