It’s officially Fall, and while the weather is cooling down, things are heating up for many of our alumni companies, who are leaving their mark on Canadian cleantech and moving Canada toward net zero.

From new partnerships to new accolades, our network of companies continues to impress with their amazing accomplishments.

New Projects & Partners 

Hydra Energy broke ground on the world’s largest hydrogen refuelling station in Prince George, BC, and unveiled plans for a similar project in Edmonton, AB. 

Reusables.com has partnered with Earls Restaurant Group to eliminate all packaging waste from their takeout orders. 

Funding & Awards

Audette is one of seven companies to receive funding from the CleanBC Building Innovation Fund to support innovative low-carbon, energy-efficient building practices and technologies.

Biodiffusion Technologies is one of five companies that will be accelerating their solution with financial support from Natural Products Canada.  

Drishya AI Labs has been recognized as one of Canada’s most innovative technology companies and was named as a CIX Top 20 Early Company for 2022.

Future Fields was selected as one of two winners of Novo Nordisk’s Golden Ticket award. Each ticket covers the cost of access to a bench in LabCentral’s laboratory for one year. 

New Growth 

15 Canadian companies are accelerating their growth with Foresight in our Fall 2022 Kickstart program.

21 cleantech innovators from across Canada have accelerated their path to market readiness as a part of Foresight’s Fall 2022 Launch cohort. 

Recap

To date, our network of 870+ Foresight-supported ventures have raised $1.2 billion in capital, generated $348+ million in revenue, and created 7,040+ high-paying jobs. In total, the economic impact of our alumni companies is more than $2 billion.
